Shoes & Tunes #3 (S. G. Browne)

Okay, yeah, I seem to have an overabundance of horror writers in this game, but… you know, I like it, and it’s my blog, so there!

Today’s analysis is that of S. G. BROWNE (a Bram Stoker nominee, master of horror, writer of my new favorite zombie book Breathers: A Zombie’s Lament): shoes: My Chuck Taylor Converse All-Star black high tops. All black, even the soles. songs: “Happiness is a Warm Gun”- The Beatles, “Basket Case”-Green Day, “Where Is My Mind?”-The Pixies, “Soul Kitchen”-The Doors

Quick character sketch according to me (your mileage may vary):

all black Chuck high tops = dark, cool, a little nerdly

Songs all involve being nuts, of course, which seems to be a common theme among writers (hehehe).

Bottom line: if I wrote a character based on S. G. Browne’s response, I’d make him (or her) an average Joe, but with a deep dark side. Likes to talk philosophy and how it’s possible to kill someone with everyday household items.

What do you think? Leave a comment.

Thanks for playing, Scott! :-)
